There was nothing pre-assembled, so there was a lot to screw together. I wouldn't want to do it w/out an automatic screwdriver. But all the parts were there, the instructions were clear, and the result is good-looking and very sturdy. I use it in the bedroom, where space is limited and I keep technology to a minimum. It suits the traditional furniture.

I wanted a small table next to the piano where I compose, something that took minimal space, to which I could turn easily as I write. This is the best purchase I've made in a long time. I couldn't be happier.

This is a very functional and attractive table. It is sturdy, easily adjusted and just works great! The wheels roll well on hard flooring, a little less well on a thick carpet.

Assembly took my wife and I about 15-20 minutes. There are small "dings" in the bottom of the work surface to indicate where to attach the metal parts with the screws they give you. Some of the "dings" don't line up with the holes in the metal parts, but that doesn't really matter...they still help guide you so you know what to do. Instruction sheet is good, and the hardware is quality.

Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase and would buy another in a heartbeat if I needed one.

I bought this table because I had foot surgery and had to keep my foot elevated while typing (can't sit at a desk). So, this table allows me to lie on the sofa or sit in a recliner while typing on my laptop and my foot can remain on the ottoman. A great gift if you know anyone who is bedridden or who recently had foot or leg surgery!

This cart looks beautiful, seems to be made of quality material, and is easy to assemble. However, there are some design issues that should be considered to determine if this cart will meet your needs:

(1) The top height of the leg feet is about 6.5 inches (with casters).

(2) The tilt mechanism is underneath the table, about 17 inches from the leg post and hangs down about 3 inches.

(3) The vertical adjustment is on the inside (long leg foot side) of the leg post and extends out about 2 inches.

(4) The leg post is round, in two parts, interlocks, and is joined only by the spring and two screws...which allows for some horizontal sway (about an inch or so in fluctuation), which may make the cart feel a little unstable to some people.

(5) Only the laptop portion tilts (in either direction)...the mouse/coffee area is rigid.

(6) The height of the laptop and mouse/coffee area is linked (cannot be controlled separately).

(7) The wrist bumpers are rigid (hard/cannot be removed) and appear to be quality vinyl (leather-like) covered wood.

Overall, I am happy with this cart. The aesthetics are great and functions good enough to meet my needs.
