After peeling and peeling the plastic wrap off, I found the frame of the tray was not connected to the tray on the corners of both of the tray tables. Look nice, but are not assembled fully or securely. You will need to "SuperGlue" the corners, or return them. If two in one box are defective, I image all are the same. Made in [*], AAAAHHHH!!!! That explains it.

[...]apart. My husband tested the top of the tray and found it flimsy, and poorly constructed. I did not want the inconvenience to return them for they were too heavy so they told me they will give me a full refund instead.

These trays are used by my visiting grandchildren when they snack while watching their favorite TV shows...that's why I love the idea of the "lip"...it contains the spills that are inevitable with kids!

When the one side rim was loose in the packaging, indicating that it was not glued in place during assembly, it makes me skeptical as to the quanlity of workmanship over-all and how long will it be until the item starts to fall apart. I'm happy with my purchase; I just prefer better 1st impressions.
