I bought this bed tray for my 92-year-old mom who sometimes has to have her meals in bed. We both love the tray! It is sturdy and big enough for a dinner plate, cup, silverware, etc. It looks nice, too. Very, very good product for the price!!!

looking for the perfect gift for my adult daughter who works very hard and long hours. an occasional breakfast in bed or a tea time in the afternoon on the weekend or day off is a real treat for her. this item - the bamboo tray is just beautiful and perfect. could not have asked for a more beautiful piece. she will love it! a great "pampering piece"!

These types of trays are hard to find in department stores. My daughter has wanted serving trays for a couple of years. I have an old one that my mother gave me years ago and didn't want to part with it and give it to her. I was happy to find Hayneedle during an internet search. They offer several options/styles and prices. I use the tray to surprise my loved one with breakfast in bed on Father's Day or his birthday. I have also used them for serving meals to sick kids who need to stay in bed. The tray could be a little higher to accomodate a larger lap. The surface area is large enough for a standard size plate, glass or cup. I would definately buy this item again. I think 2 trays (which I bought) would make a great gift!
