My Life Partner is bed ridden from cancer. I don't have room for a hospital type tray. So I was looking for something I could serve food on, that she could also use for reading, crosswords, laptop and had room for a mouse. (she doesn't like to use the mouse-pad, neither do I) Plus this tray had a drawer for her pencil and puzzle books. I searched for 3 hours on the internet before I found this tray. It's perfect and she loves it!

It is just what I expected, with no real negatives. The only real con, and it is minor-the legs do not fold away tight. They need a clip or something. But this does NOT detract from its use.

    Due to back injury I spend most of my time in bed this item is a wonderful product to allow me to read and use laptop. The drawer is perfect for my paper and pen when the phone rings and I cannot get up to answer it and take down dr instructions. I love this item and would recommend to anyone who is bed bound or chair bound.

      This was a gift for my mom. She has been using a flimsy tray table which she would have to lean forward to use. With this lap table, she can sit back in comfort and play solitare or work her crossword puzzles without her back hurting her.

      If the surface on the lap tray wasn't full of scratches and indentations (it even looks like cracks were glued together)it would be a very nice tray.

      Service and delivery comments:

      Prompt delivery. Wood was in poor condition. I bought it as a gift. I will be calling the customer service rep in the morning!
